Scarlett the Star Student

Scarlett took her turn as the Star Student at school this fall.  Here she is posing with her Star Student poster -- All About Me!

Here's a closer look.  It says "My name is Scarlett; I am 4 years old; my favorite color is purple; food is mac & cheese; subject is science; when I grow up I want to be a cowgirl (?); this is my family (with a picture of us hiking in Utah this summer).

We brought brownies to share with the class (do you see a theme?) and Chris came to read a book (a Fancy Nancy selection) to celebrate our Star Student.

Chris was sad because Scarlett was too cool to take her picture with him after he finished reading.

 Sweet Olivia felt bad for him, and offered to pose with him instead.

Scarlett, apparently, was more interested in reading to the boys.
