Park City Part 2

The Utah Symphony held an outdoor Disney concert at the base of Deer Valley Resort one evening.  Along with the music (instruments and singing), they had screens set up with accompanying sequences from the Disney films, featuring iconic Disney scenes from Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid, The Lion King, and of course Frozen.  Everyone brought blankets and picnicked on the grass at the bottom of a ski run.

Eating cupcakes -- it was also Michael's 8th birthday!

Interpretive dance?

Look at all that hair.

Max was on a TEAR.  He was totally amped up for no apparent reason and could not. sit. still.  Too many birthday cupcakes, perhaps?

When I momentarily blocked the view to try and get a group shot, Scarlett did not approve.  "Hey -- down in front!"

Henry gets "the look."  I'm sure it was totally unprovoked well deserved.

There's that sweet face.

Riding the merry-go-round at Park City Mountain Resort.

Max opted for the safety of a bench rather than a terrifying (?) stallion.

We took the chair lift all the way to the veeerrrrry top of Deer Valley Resort to check out the scenic vistas.  And look who's here!  Mimi and Papa Tig arrived in Park City.

Scarlett was not a happy camper because it was windy and a bit cold at the top of the lift and she insisted that she did not want to go one more step (and refused to pose for pictures), even though there was just a very short hike up to the very top.  But then she realized there were big boulders to scramble and climb (one of Scarlett's very favorite things to do), and the wind magically was no longer problem.  Funny how that works.

Little Billy goat.

Rock climbing is the best!

Enjoying the peace and quiet ...

Actually, not so quiet.

Back down the mountain for lunch and some running around with Papa Tig.

One evening we headed to the beautiful Montage hotel for dinner and bowling.  Max was a natural (seriously) at shuffle board in the adjoining game room.  Check out that form.

Adorable tiny bowling shoes.  Scarlett's neon flaming bowling balls definitely gave her an edge.

Tips from Daddy.

Papa Tig passes along some bowling wisdom, too.
